Well, I've been working at Bookstop in the cafe` for about five nights (and one morning) and it seems to be going quite well. It's quiet and very rarely busy, so I have a lot of time to get familiar with everything and allow repitition to teach me what I need to know. Yay! I get $7.25 an hour and at least two days off a week, sometimes more (like not this coming week, but the next, I have three off in a row, work, then another off O_o) and it's pretty lonely up there most of the time.
I love it!
So, that....that's good.
I've decided to try to go into work early most days and use the time to try and write a story, mainly just as an exercise to get me back into a writing "groove". I've suffered from writer's block and apathy long enough. It's only a "modern" telling of the Phantom of the Opera, but I'm trying a new approach so it may end up a lot more interesting. I'll keep you posted.
In other news, my younger sister is pregnant. I'm still not sure how to react to the news, but she seems to be taking it well so far. My love to her.
